Mama June Just Revealed How Much She Spent On Drugs

It’s no secret that Mama June Shannon spent a lot of money on drugs. However, no one knows the exact amount she spent. There were only estimated values. Mama June recently answered this question on the Wendy Williams show.

June’s Story

June Shannon has earned a lot of money from reality television. She got endorsements, fame, and everything that came with the celebrity lifestyle. She helped her daughter Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson to launch her career on Toddlers and Tiaras. 

The rest of the family went ahead to star in Here Comes Honey Boo Boo which lasted for four seasons. And so it was that at the time the show was canceled, June and her partner were having some issues in their relationship.

Fortunately for them, they were recruited for Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars. They decided to break up and June also decided to undergo a full-body transformation. 

That transformation led to her reality show. This show documented her transformation journey, her new life, and also her new lover.

Unfortunately, her new partner, Geno Doak, was a bad influence. June eventually got hooked on drugs. This new addiction affected her relationship with her daughters. Alana had to live with her older sister, Lauryn ‘Pumpkin’ Efird while her mother and Geno got arrested.

In the end, both “arrested” went to rehab. June became sober and tried to mend her broken relationship with her daughters. During this process, she fell in love again with another man who she married a few months ago. Now, mana June just confirmed how much she spent on drugs.

It’s A Lot Of Money!

While featuring on The Wendy Williams Show, June revealed that she has been sober for more than two years. This is a big achievement. Mama June admitted that she spent more than one million dollars on drugs. To her, this was more just an addiction. It was her way of life. 

On another note, Pumpkin gained full custody of her sister in April. June was ordered by the court to pay $800 in child support. 

However, when her financial statements came out, fans found out that the money she paid for child support was very small compared to what she earned. Court papers revealed that Mama June earned up to $25k/per month. 

The judge revealed that her income came from the show and its endorsements. The Judge said that since the show hasn’t been renewed, her monthly earnings might change.
