Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) will plan a wedding in upcoming DOOL episodes. But will it be a new start, or a disastrous end?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Convoluted Love Story

Longtime viewers will remember Lucas and Sami weren’t exactly star crossed lovers to begin with, and their love story was very convoluted! Their son Will Horton (Chandler Massey) was born in 1995 but they never got married until 2007 and even then it only lasted a year! She then became involved with and married EJ DiMera (Dan Feurreriegel) while fooling around with Lucas and she became pregnant with a set of twins – one EJ’s, and one Lucas’!

Those twins grew up to be Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Sami and Lucas had an affair while locked in the DiMera wine cellar, and later Lucas framed EJ for kidnapping Sami when Lucas himself was the kidnapper!

DOOL Spoilers – Abigail DiMera Is Killed For Investigating Lucas Horton’s Secret

Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) decides to investigate and write a story for the Salem Spectator about who really kidnapped Sami, and she’s killed for it, while Lucas goes on a bender! Lucas hears of the murder and being warned that Abigail was digging into the situation can’t remember what he did the night she was killed!

Even though there will be a laundry list of suspects, Lucas may be one of them, because Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) told Lucas’ mother Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) he knew! Chad also told Kate that he had stopped Abigail from traveling to Milwaukee, Wisconsin to interview the second henchman that Lucas had hired to keep Sami captive! Obviously, this situation could impact whether Lucas and Sami actually make it to the altar or not because he could be arrested!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – EJ DiMera Was Framed And Chad DiMera Knew It

Chad also told Kate that he knew that Lucas framed EJ for Sami’s kidnapping, and he had caught him hacking into his laptop! EJ and Chad will band together, as well as the rest of the DiMera family to comfort Chad over his wife’s murder. DiMera justice will come to bear on whoever took the DiMera childrens’ mother away from them and Chad’s wife away from him!

No one will be surprised if Chad and EJ crash Lucas and Sami’s wedding and bring it to a grinding halt with the exposure of Sami’s true kidnapper! Then there’s still the possibility of Lucas’ arrest or at the very least Chad’s accusation that he not only kidnapped Sami but killed Abigail to keep the truth from being exposed!

DOOL Spoilers – What Else Could Happen To Stop The Wedding?

There’s another situation that could stop the Lumi wedding; EJ has been getting comfy and cozy with Sami’s little sister Belle Brady (Martha Madison)! EJ’s been very attracted to Belle as of late, and right now they are good friends and he’s letting her stay in the mansion in a separate bedroom.

But that could escalate into an affair by the time of Sami and Lucas’ wedding, and seeing EJ making time with her sister could make Sami jealous! Even though she seems to be committed to Lucas, she might decide she wants EJ when she sees Belle with him and dump him at the altar! Any number of things could cause Lucas and Sami’s new start to come to a disastrous end!
