Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Peter Reckell Dishes On Days Return

Days of Our Lives fan favorite Peter Reckell (Bo Brady) has returned to not only Days of Our Lives but Days Of Our Lives Beyond Salem Two. Reckell left the show in 2015 but returned for two episodes in 2016. Now Bo has come back for another visit. What is going on with Reckell’s return?

Days of Our Lives Peter Reckell Just Moved Back To The States

Days of Our Lives Reckell had moved his family to New Zealand. However, travel became so hard during the pandemic that they decided to move back to the United States. Reckell and his wife bought a home in Alaska that they are currently working on.

Fans will remember that Reckell left the show in 2012 because he just wanted to be a dad. Reckell felt he was missing out on too much in his child’s life and stepped away from the show. Reckell’s daughter is now 14 and has been traveling back and forth to L.A. with him to visit childhood friends.

Days of Our Lives – Just Like Riding A Bike

Days of Our Lives Reckell says that working with Kristian Alfonso (Hope Brady) was just like riding a bike. Bo and Hope were such a big part of the show in the 80s and 90s even into the 2000s. However, Reckell admits that the younger fans are the ones who surprise him because they were babies when Bo and Hope were really popular. However, Bo and Hope’s story has been retold through the years so even younger fans are aware of their connection.

Days of Our Lives – Would You Come Back To Either Show?

Days of Our Lives Reckell was asked if he would be willing to come back to either show for more scenes. Reckell says he had a good time and is open to whatever comes about. Reckell does admit that the Peacock series would be more of what he wants to do because it moves faster than the regular show.

However, Reckell says that it depends on how important Bo and Hope are to the show. Reckell says he wants to see what everyone’s reaction is to the network show and then gauge the reaction to Beyond Salem. Reckell admits that a lot of things are up in the air right now.

Days of Our Lives Beyond Salem air July 11 – 15, afterward the writers and producers may have more of an idea of where Bo and Hope will go from here.
