Days Of Our Lives Wally Kurth and Kassie DePaiva’s New Film

Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal Wally Kurth and Kassie DePaiva are working together again, this time on an upcoming short film called Common as Red Hair. Robbie Robertson has made intersex the subject of his screenplay and the story will educate many persons who are not even aware of intersex.

This is a narrative film that covers the aftermath of a funeral where two parents are forced to reevaluate their decision to have gender “corrective” surgery on their intersex child. The film, more than an artistic endeavor, is meant to raise awareness about the damages of these operations.

Kimberly Zieselman Is Part Of The Project

Intersex activist, Kimberly Zieselman is also a part of the project serving as executive producer. Intersex is a broad term used to describe people who have sex characteristics that fall outside of the male-female binary. Kurth and DePaiva will play mother and father. Fans would remember them from acting alongside each other on Days of Our Lives as Justin Kiriakis and Eve Donovan respectively.

Both Depaiva and Kurth have been in the soap genre for decades. Kurth is also playing General Hospital’s Ned Quartermaine at present and played As the World Turns’ Sam Hutchins. Meanwhile, DePaiva played Blair Cramer on One Life to Live and General Hospital. She also played Chelsea Reardon on Guiding Light. This is the latest project for the two soap veterans. With DePaiva’s last appearance on Days back in 2022 we are anticipating seeing her in this new film.

The film aims to bring awareness worldwide and our interest has been peaked with such an important story that needs to be told.
