Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Robert Scott Wilson Getting A New Role Now That Ben And Ciara Are Exiting?

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Robert Scott Wilson (Ben Weston) is about to get a new role now that Ben and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) are leaving Salem. Wilson is a fan favorite which is why a new character is needed. However, there is the question of how fans will respond to the new character.

Days of Our Lives – The Reformed Serial Killer

Days of Our Lives fans love Ben because of how he has overcome his past. Ben is a reformed serial killer and is married to the daughter of the legendary couple, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). However, insiders suggest that Ben and Ciara will be off-screen by July. July is also the month that Days Of Our Lives Beyond Salem 2 airs and the couple will be on there. However, that could be the last time we see the couple together for some time.

Days of Our Lives – Why A New Character?

Days of Our Lives Ben and Ciara are thrilled to be parents and have left town with their baby. Ben is not likely to return to Salem without his wife and child. Days writers are not likely to break up Ben and Ciara for him to return home either. This is why a new character for Robert makes sense. Wilson would not be the first to return as a new character. Kyle Lowder (ex-Rex Brady) played Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) years ago. This seems to be the most likely scenario of what should happen with Wilson as well.

Days of Our Lives – NBC Wants To Keep Robert Scott Wilson

Days of Our Lives and their network, NBC, want to keep Robert in their cast. After all, he is a very popular actor and brings viewers to the show. The easiest way to keep Wilson with Konefal’s exit is to give him a new role. Of course, there is no indication of how the resemblance will be explained or it if will even be addressed. Information about Wilson’s new character hasn’t been released either. However, there is some speculation that Wilson may take over as one of Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) sons.

Long-time fans remember that Bo and Hope left town when their first child was born as well and sailed around the world. That may not be the exit that Ben and Caira take but at least Ciara isn’t getting kidnapped every couple of years. So while Ben and Ciara are living a happy life outside of Salem, it’s time for Wilson to premiere a new character with new adventures. Good Luck in your new role Rob.
