Days Of Our Lives Spoilers and Rumors: Sarah’s Strange Side Effects Cause Confusion – And Murder?
Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease that Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) strange ongoing side effects from the antidote she was injected with cause confusion in future DOOL episodes. Her confusion might even cause her to murder someone in a case of mistaken identity!
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – All The Side Effects Were Thought To Have Been Known
As in any experimental drugs such as the one of Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) Sarah was initially injected with and then the antidote for it, side effects aren’t known. Apparently with the original one, the more you get the more you forget, but with the antidote, side effects aren’t known at all; it could have killed or healed her. Sarah did get her memories back, but only to a certain point and had to relive devastating ones all over again fresh.
Sarah starts showing some apparent side effects from the antidote which causes her confusion, sometimes with dates, sometimes with garbled memories, sometimes with confusing people with other people. She is fully Sarah but with a few drug related quirks; they don’t affect her revived feelings for Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) or their relationship, however.
DOOL Spoilers – Sarah Horton Starts Having Abnormal Mood Swings
Sarah starts having some abnormal mood swings as well, over and above her usual feistiness and temper; obviously, this concerns both Xander and her mother Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers)! Sarah has been known to fly off the handle very easily at times but she’s always all bark and no bite; she never gets physically violent!
However, she starts manifesting behaviors during these mood swings that are increasingly violent – but so far not against people, and Maggie’s glad she put all her collectables under lock and key! Maggie had done that even before leaving for an extended time to take care of her oldest daughter Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) until her death.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Possible Psychosis Or Even Devil Possession Becomes Concerning
Sarah’s behavior and mood swing become so bizarre and violent that Xander and Maggie become concerned over psychosis or even possession, and Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is called! Unfortunately, Marlena would be able to recognize either, and she rules out possession; Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) comes with her and he agrees, the devil is not in Sarah. However, Marlena recommends another brain MRI to rule out any physical causes in Sarah’s brain, a tumor for instance, recalling that Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) brain tumor.
Will, too, had taken a different Rolf potion designed to cure amnesia and he too took too much of it, and his brain tumor nearly killed him! That particular time an antidote saved him without leaving harmful side effects, just in the nick of time – and some help from Caroline Brady (Peggy McKay) who sent him back!
DOOL Spoilers – A Psychotic Sarah Horton Thinks She’s Killing Someone Else
Brain tumor ruled out and regular psychosis ruled out, Sarah’s bizarre behavior is attributed to unknown side effects of Rolf’s antidote, and Sarah seems to be free of them temporarily. Xander, Maggie, and Marlena let their guard down a little bit and Sarah and Xander resume their relationship happily, until one day when Sarah’s alone and she leaves at night!
Sarah has become psychotic and sleepwalks during a nightmare about Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and leaves the mansion with a meat cleaver, and encounters Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) on assignment! Sarah starts screaming “you killed my baby, you killed my baby” and attacks Abigail, thinking she’s Kristen, leaving Abigail dead and a gruesome, bloody scene; and wakes to a worse nightmare!
