Alison Sweeney has thrilled fans with her portrayal of troubled teen Sami Brady DiMera who grew up to be an even more troublesome adult. Even her kids are double trouble: twins Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

When will Sami bring her hurricane to Horton Square? The lovely and talented blonde returns this summer and will get involved in a rather electrifying turn of events

The other actors involved include Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Dan Feuerriegel (EJ DiMera), Martha Madison (Belle Brady), and more. Two of those characters are her baby daddies so there is sure to be festering romantic action as well as jealousy and one-upmanship.

Fans last saw Sweeney in 2021 after a longer than usual time spent in Salem. Sami left town to move back to Italy with Lucas although she had no idea she was nothing more than a pawn in his treacherous game. Oh sure, he loves Sami, but when it comes to it he is just as conniving and sneaky as she is.

Lucas convinced Sami Brady that she had been kidnapped by EJ DiMera when in fact it was Lucas who drugged and stashed her away, then “rescued” her.

Apparently Sami will finally see fit to come to town to tend to her kids who have both been possessed by the devil and run amok causing all sorts of hijinks. Will they ever be the same?

Both Allie and Johnny were possessed and made to act in evil ways. Some fans might think this tendency was already in their genes, and just ramped up a notch or three. When Sami comes back it appears that her man EJ has fallen in love with her sister Belle. She’s having trouble accepting that her husband Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) had sex with the “devil” and is now expecting a little bundle of hellfire. Of course EJ thinks Sami left him for Lucas but eventually the truth will have to come out and when it does, would it be wrong to say there will be hell to pay?
