The Bringing Up Bates star, Carlin Bates has finally updated her fans on her health condition. After visiting the ER four times, she had a follow-up appointment on Wednesday, May 25.
If you’ve been following our posts, Carlin and her husband, Evan Stewart have visited the emergency room consistently for some weeks now.
Carlin has been having these “episodes” of passing out and each episode turns out to be longer than the previous.
Much of this incident happened when the couple was in Nashville, Tennessee where Evan’s family lives. They’re now back in Knoxville to find some answers.
Carlin Shares An Update After Leaving Her Follow-up Appointment
Carlin gave an update on her health through her Instagram story. In the clip, we can see Carlin in a wheelchair while she was carried out of the car.
.She told her fans that she had another episode while seeing the doctor in charge. This was a blessing in disguise as this will help the doctors to give Carlin a diagnosis.
At the moment, no exact diagnosis has been given. Notwithstanding, the couple is very hopeful.
On her Instagram story, she revealed that the doctors are now certain to some level that she might be having seizures.
In hopes of catching another episode, Carlin would be having a multi-day EEG. In that way, the doctors would be able to determine the kind of seizure she’s having.
Overall, Carlin revealed that the follow-up appointment was very helpful. Carlin also stated that she’s very glad she’s receiving answers concerning her health.
