Did 1000-Lb Sisters Star Tammy Deliberately Fake Things & Lies To Fans?

1000-Lb Sisters fans heard a lot of rumors about Tammy Slaton and lots of folks really worry about her. Actually, some people think she failed at her rehab and might actually die. Meanwhile, as she posts heavily filtered photos on social media, many fans think she’s just plain weird and loves being overweight because of all the attention. However, did she lie to her TLC fans? Is she actually doing well?

1000-Lb Sisters Fans Hate Fakes Who String A Line

So many fans invested time and energy in Amy’s sister, that if she has been faking her progress, then she can probably expect a lot of backlash. Late last year, spoilers revealed the extent of concern that fans had for her. In fact, rumors started that she might have died as she disappeared from social media for a while.

When fans recently began to think that Tammy’s updates on social media were fake, it came when apparently, a secret account emerged. The 1000-Lb Sisters news came from both The Sun and Screenrant. On that account, she reportedly posted images that revealed she gave up smoking, drinking, and junk food.

Actually. she was so successful, that TV Shows Ace reported, “Tammy Slaton is exceeding the expectations of doctors and is slated to undergo her bariatric surgery three months ahead of time.”

1000-Lb Sisters – Fake Tammy Lies?

The account of @realityduchess on Instagram talked about the secret account that Tammy created, where a very different picture emerges of Amy’s sister. However, some folks started complaining about fakery long before that happened. In fact, back in December, fans slammed her for allegedly “faking a relationship with boyfriend Phillip before their shocking split.”

Back in March last year., Tammy warned her 1000-Lb Sisters fans on Twitter that “there’s a lot of fake accounts pretending to be me.” Now that her secret account was revealed, has she been fibbing to fans as much as any fake account? 

Reality TV Seems Unreal These Days

1000-Lb Sisters fans and many others begin to suspect that there’s a whole lot of scripting and fakery. Certainly, TLC gets a lot of heat for that in the 90 Day Fiance franchise. Meanwhile, a lot of fans think that Tammy’s not the brightest bulb in the box.

It seems hard to imagine that she concocted two different personas all by herself. If there is any fakery going on, might it actually be because TLC wants her to crank up the hype?
