Days of Our Lives John Aniston to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award for Daytime Emmys 2022
Days of our Lives spoilers and updates tease that veteran star John Aniston (Victor Kiriakis) will receive a lifetime achievement award in the upcoming Daytime Emmy Awards on June 24.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) first announced John Anastas’ Lifetime Achievement Award for Emmy. The awarding ceremony will be streaming live on CBS and other details of nominees will be announced on May 5.
John Aniston’s Significant Lifetime Achievements in 60 Years in Showbiz
After decades in showbiz, John Aniston will receive a Lifetime Achievement Award from Emmy, which recognizes his significant achievement in the TV industry.
The 88-year-old actor was also nominated for the Outstanding Supporting Actor in Daytime Emmy Award in 2017 for his work on the NBC sudsier.
Aniston’s first on-screen role was as “Officer #1″ in an episode of New Man in the Precinct in 1962.
The journey of John in the soap industry started in 1969 as Eric Richards in Salem. Between 1980 to 1984, the veteran actor also portrayed the role of Eddie Aleata in Love of Life and also as Martin Tourneur in Search for tomorrow. In 1985, he rejoined Days of Our Lives.
The soap star has also appeared in primetime series, such as I Spy, That Girl, Mission: Impossible, Gilmore Girls, and Diagnosis Murder.

John has been a part of the premier daytime soap opera for almost four decades now. His run as Victor Kiriakis for decades is the one that gave the veteran actor the privilege to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award.
His mean but lovable character as Victor in DOOL made people adore his robust charm. The actor also likes the idea that the DOOL’s writers are giving him “lines that are real gems”.
John Aniston has also shared in his recent interview that his favorite scene portraying his character in the daytime show was when Eve (Kassie De Paiva) came back to Victor’s door where he took a killer line for the lady and said, “Anyone orders a hooker?”
John is undeniably one of the greatest stars in Days of Our Lives.

In real life, John Aniston is a father to his two children Alex and Jennifer Aniston. His daughter, Jennifer, is also an actress known as Rachel Greene from the movie “Friends”. Jennifer Aniston’s role made the actress win an Emmy Award (2002) and Golden Globe Award (2003).
