Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Gwen Gets Away With It? Master Manipulator Finds Way Out

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has run out of options. Just when Gwen thought she was going to get away with everything and marry Xander Cook (Paul Telfer), the truth came out. Not only is Gwen fully exposed but is facing prison for her crimes. However, there is a chance Gwen could manage to get out of her new predicament.

Gwen Rizczech’s Exposure

DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen had plenty of chances to stop her schemes and take the narrow road. However, Gwen just couldn’t risk not getting what she wanted. There were even a few instances where the writers could have used Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to guide Gwen in the right direction. Even Gwen’s love story could have been written to change Gwen for the better. Instead, Gwen simply got worse and by the end of it all, didn’t care who she hurt.

However, it is rare that people pay for their crimes in Salem. There is no confirmation of O’Brien leaving the NBC soap. So, we have to wonder how she will get away with her laundry list of crimes now that there are criminal charges?

DOOL Spoilers: Devil Made Me Do It

With Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) about to give birth, the devil will be there to get the baby. The devil has grand plans for that child. However, the devil storyline has to end sometime. So, when the devil is finally defeated, a lot of people will get a pass on their bad behavior.

Gwen was never affected by the devil as far as we know, but that won’t stop her from using it as an excuse. After all, it’s not like Gwen can prove the devil made her do it.

Psychiatric Defense and Hospitalization

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that another possibility is that Gwen uses an insanity defense. It’s clear Gwen has serious mental problems. Gwen’s attorney might be able to prove that she is so troubled that she needs psychiatric care rather than prison. After all, that’s what happened with Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and now he’s Salem’s hero.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Redemptive Act

One other way Gwen could get away with all of her crimes is by a redemptive act. Gwen would have to some serious saving to make that work, though. Gwen would have to save someone in power that could force DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) to drop the charges. Who knows, with TR Coates (William Christian) on the rampage, saving Pauline Price (Jackee Harry) might be enough to earn Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds).

Perhaps Gwen finds out the truth about Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) shooting. Abe and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) would be beyond grateful. In real life, that wouldn’t give her a get-out-of-jail-free card. However, it certainly would in Salem.
