Little People, Big World (LPBW) spoilers show that Caryn Chandler’s son enjoyed spending the day with his son, Liam Joseph, at Roloff Farms to help kick off the opening weekend of pumpkin season.
This leisurely day comes not long after Connor, 22, narrowly avoided serving jail time on harassment charges brought by his mother.
Little People, Big World Spoilers: The Criminal Charges
Fans may recall that Connor was arrested in January of 2020, charged with two counts of harassment, but managed to avoid jail time ahead of the birth of his son.
In May, he received two new charges, one was for “attempted use of physical force or the threatened use of a deadly weapon” and the other was for damaging property both of which the young man pleaded not guilty to at the time.
However, on the day of his trial, according to The Sun, Connor pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of criminal mischief and the other three charges were dropped.
He received 18 months of bench probation where he will have to report to the court every month rather than to a probation officer.
Additionally, he was ordered to complete 48 hours of community service, pay $200 in fines, and avoid any “offensive touching” with his mother.
Little People, Big World Spoilers: Liam Joseph Dressed for Success at the Pumpkin Patch
Brittany Chandler, Connor’s sister shared an adorable image on Instagram of Connor holding his one-month-old son, born in August, at Roloff Farms.
Liam was, of course, dressed for the occasion in a top that sported pumpkins, spiders, and bats among other Halloween designs.
The outfit was perfectly accented with an orange beanie, black pants, and camouflage tennies that had “Wild and Free” emblazoned on the side.
Baby Liam’s grandmother, for her part, shared an Instagram image of her holding her grandson which she captioned, “My grandson’s first time at the patch today.”
Little People, Big World Spoilers: The Drug Addiction and Recovery
Connor is no stranger to drama as he has also struggled with substance abuse issues, according to The Sun.
Connor had said that he, “was just another kid that partied in high school, and one day after a party he took some Xanax and, from there, he was hooked.”
The Little People Big World star said that rehab has never helped him and that he got clean on his own following probation.
“I was done, tired of living that life.”
He also said that he had friends that are no longer here because of pills and that he knows it could have been different for them had they gotten help.
He also added that he was glad it all happened when he was a kid because he was able to learn from those mistakes and leave them behind.
“I’m a good kid.”
