Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) figures out his wife is possessed during the week of October 18. Unfortunately, John isn’t able to get rid of the devil. During Christmas, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is still being controlled by Satan. This could lead Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth-Hayes) to take drastic action.

John Black’s Exorcism Fails

DOOL spoilers reveal that executive producer Ken Corday told Soap Opera Digest that John finds out pretty quickly that Marlena is possessed again. That is confirmed based on the spoilers for the week of October 18. It is stated that John discovers the truth about Marlena’s puzzling behavior. Of course, John will likely have an exorcism done right away.

One piece of history that he has shared a few times lately is that John’s love gave Marlena the strength to defeat the devil. However, this storyline will continue to December and possibly January 2022. So, it seems that John fails to save his wife’s soul.

DOOL Spoilers: Horton Christmas Invitation

During an interview with BriefTake, actress Deidre Hall said that for the first time in Marlena’s life, she is invited to the annual Horton Christmas Ball. Each year, the Salemites (and viewers) gather around to watch the Horton family hang personalized ball ornaments on the Christmas tree.

Even though Marlena gets invited to the Horton Christmas Ball, things will spiral out of control pretty quickly. Plus, something bad happens at the event, Hall teased.

Luring “MarDevil’ Into Trap

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that John is already suspicious that something isn’t quite right with Marlena. As for Julie, she claims to trust Marlena but it seems that she really believes that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). When Doug points the finger at Marlena as the person who knocked out Julie, most people believe the senior citizen has dementia. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) actually allows Marlena to commit Doug to the psychiatric ward.

However, Julie knows that something isn’t right. As the devil continues controlling Marlena’s life, Julie will suspect that her husband has been misdiagnosed. Others are dismissing Doug’s nonsensical rambling and shocking allegations as dementia. However, Doug is telling the truth about Marlena and will soon convince Julie of it.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Saving Marlena Evans

It is confirmed that “MarDevil” continues to commit more diabolical deeds, as well as physically attack Julie once again. So, it seems unlikely that Julie would invite Marlena and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to the annual Horton Christmas celebration to hang ornaments. Instead, Juliie could lure “MarDevil” into a trap so the devil can be evicted from Marlena’s body.

Just how much damage and suffering wil Marlena cause by the time she is saved from Satan’s sinister scheme?
