Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Johnny DiMera Finally Begins Filming His Movie

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) had a very difficult time getting investors for his movie, which he is filming on his phone. He finally got Roman Brady, (Josh Taylor) Lucas Horton, (Bryan Datillo) and Abigail and Chad on his side. John Black himself has been dead set against the movie, especially when the focus turned to Marlena’s past possession. However, the script that Johnny is using is one written several years ago by Will Horton (Chandler Massey) called “The Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) story.

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Will and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) are Sami’s children with Lucas, while Johnny and his younger sister Sydney DiMera (most recently Brooklyn and Berlin Baca) are EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel). Johnny had previously approached Allie about playing their mother Sami, and then Abigail about playing Marlena. Now Chad and Abigail will be re-enacting a scene from John and Marlena’s love story for Johnny’s movie, and considering levitation might be difficult to produce on a phone, it will probably be a different scene.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sami Brady’s Discovery Of John Black And Marlena Evans’ Affair Was Discussed

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Sami’s teenage discovery of John and Marlena’s affair was discussed previously on Days of Our Lives. John and Marlena weren’t wild about that being re-enacted either, but this may be the scene that Chad and Abigail re-enact.

Longtime Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that a teenaged Sami walked in on her mother in bed with John Black while still married to Roman Brady legally. But those years were a confusing mess of who was who, as Roman disappeared and John, then known as “The Pawn” and suffering amnesia, had been thought to be Roman.

The real Roman reappeared at a later time but Marlena had fallen in love with John. Sami naturally took her mother’s relationship with John as an affront, and it in part may have contributed to further teenage rebellion. It also may have contributed to much of what we know as “Hurricane Sami” today, with her recent insistence on uncovering Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) one night stand with her twin Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan)! Perhaps, subconsciously, she was punishing her mother for sleeping with John!

Days of Our Lives viewers know that Johnny is most excited about recreating Marlena’s possession by the devil onscreen, recalling the success of the movie “The Exorcist”. Days of Our Lives viewers know that horror movies have always been a big draw, because of human nature’s attraction to the bleak, the bloody, and the macabre.

Just think of all the onlooker delays in traffic when there is a wrecked car at the side of the road, even if there is no one in it! Onlookers want to spot potential leftover gore! But the first scene filmed will more than likely not include an exorcism or a levitation!
