Little People, Big World Spoilers: Amy Shuts Down Her Children’s Charity After $14,000 LossLittle People, Big World spoilers reveal that in 2009, Amy, the 57-year-old Little People, Big World veteran launched the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation whose stated aim was to, “assist children including youth at risk, people with disabilities, single parents and families.”

According to The Sun, the charity was shut down by the charity’s vice president and secretary, officially, in November 2020.

In the charity’s 2015 tax form, obtained by The Sun, which is the most recently available tax form to be filed, the charity stated that it began the year with $52,153.

The form also revealed that the foundation had only received $5,231 in donations, gifts, grants, etc.

With expenses of almost $20,000 the Little People Big World star was left with just under $40,000 at year’s end, and a deficit of $14,761.

In 2013 and 2014, the foundation received $220,437 and $122,633, respectively.

According to ProPublica, the reality stars charity foundation had total assets of just $34,455 and, in 2012, brought in $273,893 after a gold tournament and subsequent dinner/auction.

But even then, with expenses at almost $300,000, the foundation only cleared $9,590.

The foundation is no longer active and there has been no activity on the charity’s Facebook page since December 29, 2018.

On the Little People, Big World personal web page, she tells visitors that she, “recently made the very hard and tough decision” to end the charity in 2020.

“However,” it reads, “helping and giving to others is still at her core and she very much continues to attend and make appearances to support and advocate for charities and foundations that truly make a difference to enrich the lives of children, youth and families as much as she can.”

The reality TV star’s web page goes on to say, “Thank you ALL that have given to ARCF over the years. Together, we made a BIG difference and will continue to do so.”

Little People, Big World Spoilers: Staying Active with Irons in Many Fires

Since closing her charity, Amy has kept busy with her other business, Amy Roloff’s Little Kitchen, posting cooking videos and recipes.

Fans know that in August the Little People, Big World veteran got hitched to Chris Marek on Roloff Farms.

Even though she no longer holds a stake in Roloff Farms the busy chef still actively assists in the daily operations of the family business.

In fact, on the October 1 opening day of pumpkin season, Amy dressed up in a coconut top with a grass skirt to help launch the fall festivities.

A new season of Little People Big World has yet to be announced but fans can still catch old episodes of the show on TLC.
