And Johnny showed his interest in demonic subjects when he insisted on watching that legendary scary movie, “The Exorcist.”

Caught up in his determination, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) gets trapped in viewing the film with Johnny.

Chanel makes her views about “The Exorcist” movie clear to Johnny. But Johnny ignores her. And rather than heed her concerns, he boasts that his movie about his grandmother becoming possessed by the devil could become “better than the Exorcist.”

Chanel wisely asks if he should be “messing with this stuff” and wonders if people might find it sacrilegious.

As a result, Johnny and Chanel spend time wondering about taking chances.

But though he favors going for what he sees as movie gold, she wisely warns again it.

Making a movie about the demon possessing his grandmother presents a bigger risk than he knows, says Chanel.

“You are literally tempting the Devil to walk right through that door!” she warns Johnny.

What Does DOOL Actor’s Movie Background Foreshadow For Johnny?

Intriguingly, the actor who plays Johnny on Days Of Our Lives possesses his own strong background in demonic film-making.

Carson Boatman previously got involved in several films with a haunting plot. In the movie “Bedeviled,” Boatman played the role of Gavin.

The film features five pals “terrorized by a supernatural entity after downloading a mysterious app,” per IMDB. But the actor’s background in movies involving the Devil doesn’t end there.

Boatman also starred in the film “Devilish Charm,” portraying Clark. That haunting movie involves the Devil taking on a sorority house!

“When a cursed devil’s charm’ bracelet shows up at a sorority house on Valentine’s Day, each girl tries to make a series of wishes,” per IMDB.

What happens next could foreshadow Johnny’s film funding future. In “Devilish Charm,” each character discovers unplanned consequences reveal “Satan’s sinister strategy.”
