Little People Big World: After ‘Disaster,’ Roloff Farm Prepares for Pumpkin Season
When a tent was destroyed by a storm on the Roloff farm, Matt Roloff made sure to assure fans of Little People Big World as well as attendees to the farm, that everything would be back in shape by the time pumpkin season arrived.
In that light, Matt Roloff, 59, took to Instagram on September 24, with a series of images aside which he captioned assurances, writing, “That time of year again… #nuffsaid #dontworrythosethatcantmakeitwestillLoveYouAll #tlc #pumpkinpatch #inalmostready.”

In the first image, Matt has a wide smile that projects confidence and excitement as he poses next to the Roloff Farms sign advertising the annual pumpkin season times.
In another image we see Matt posing next to big wooden cutout jack-o-lanterns waving his hands in the air.
Later we can see that he was sitting on a bale of hay in front of these jack-o-lanterns and pumpkins where guests will be taking photos to remember their time on the farms this holiday season.
Little People Big World: What Fun Pumpkin Season Brings to Roloff Farms
Per the Roloff farms sign, Matt runs pumpkin season from October 1 to October 31 – on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
According to In Touch, this is the busiest time of the year for Roloff Farms and so they go all out, providing a quarter-mile long walking trail called “The Scene Trail” that features face painting, a choo choo train ride, pumpkin picking, and even a wagon ride.
Little People Big World: ‘Woke Up to a Little Disaster’ On the Farm
Fans may recall that, on September 18, after Matt and his girlfriend, Caryn Chandler, enjoyed dinner at Amy Roloff and her new husband, Chris Marek’s home, Matt had gone to bed, and everything was fine.
However, a winter storm hit the farm overnight, so Matt woke up to a little ‘disaster’ where one of his tents had been destroyed.
Describing the damage on an Instagram post Matt wrote, “woke up to this disaster on the farm…. The passing first winter storm said… “hello @rolofffarms tent… we’ll show you”. We loose one tent everyyear. Glad we have time to recover.”
Not one to be beaten by weather, Matt had assured fans that he would get everything back up and running in time for pumpkin season, and with days left, it would seem that he’s going to be able to keep that promise.
The is a wonderful time of year for the Roloff family as it’s a time when the entire family comes together in one place, including Matt, his ex-wife, Amy Roloff, and their adult children Jeremy, Zach, Molly, and Jacob.
