Oh baby! That’s Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) to her beloved Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). And as Days Of Our Lives fans know, Ben and Ciara already have survived more than your average couple.

Amnesia. A near-miss with getting married to Theo. And an eerie interlude courtesy of the DOOL spin-off, “Beyond Salem.”

Surely getting pregnant couldn’t possibly derail them once more?! But that’s the hint on recent episodes of DOOL.

As a result of Ciara’s longing to get pregnant, Ben finally faces the need to tell her how he really feels.

As a result of his past, Ben fears their baby could inherit his worst traits. How could the couple survive this conundrum? Well, we see three possible options.

And one (eeek!) features the possession plot!

Ben Versus Ciara: 3 Ways To Resolve Baby Brouhaha

For long-time Days Of Our Lives fans, the famous possession plot ranks high on the list of memorable story lines.

And now, just in time for the Halloween season, the Devil has returned to Salem. But this time, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) finds herself confronted by the demon’s possession of another person in her life.

After Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) seemingly changed his personality, Days Of Our Lives revealed that the Devil had entered his soul!

Can Marlena save Doug without sacrificing herself? One possible outcome involves Ben and Ciara.

To resolve Ciara’s baby longing, she and Ben have three options:

1. Adopt a baby.
2. Choose a sperm donor to relieve Ben of his fears.
3. Get involved in the possession plot!

And it’s the last possibility that has fans so intrigued.

Rosemary Baby Shows Up In Salem?

Anything can happen when you reside in Salem. And some Days Of Our Lives fans think the Marlena possession plot could cross over with Ciara’s baby longings.

“The weird stuff going on around them made me think there’s going to be a Rosemary’s Baby storyline coupled with the Marlena Devil story,” theorized one DOOL Reddit poster.

Others agreed. “This is my thought too,” wrote one supporter. But others saw a different way for Ben to get involved.

“My guess is that all this talk is just grist for Mardevil upcoming attempts to lure Ben back to the killin’,” suggested another DOOL fan.

“Great theory,” chimed in a Days Of Our Lives viewer. “I’m also wondering if they’re going to retcon Ben’s serial killer storyline into him being possessed.”
