Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Doug’s Hidden Message, Eli Unknowingly Alerts John of Repossession?

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 27 reveal that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) struggles to communicate with Eli Grant (Lamon Archey). There is something that Doug needs to say, but the devil has made it nearly impossible. Even though Eli won’t understand, there are certain words he does hear, which could lead him to unknowingly warn John Black (Drake Hogestyn).

Doug Williams Gets Worse

DOOL spoilers reveal that Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) has determined that Doug is just fine. To be on the safe side, she refers Doug to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). Kayla wants all the bases covered and thinks Doug’s memory loss and bizarre behavior could have a psychological cause.

As fans saw on Friday’s episode, there is nothing medically wrong with Doug. His memory loss, missing chunks of time and odd behavior are due to demonic possession. The devil decided to reveal itself to Marlena during that appointment.

Now that the devil has a foothold, Marlena is going to struggle with possession once again. As for Doug, he will get worse, which everyone will assume is related to dementia.

DOOL Spoilers: Communication Struggle

During the week of September 27, Doug will struggle to communicate. So, this must be the devil’s way of keeping him from letting anyone know the truth. It is confirmed that Doug tries to communicate with Eli, which means that he is unable to get through to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes).

Eli Grant Passes Along Message

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eli probably won’t be able to understand what Doug is trying to tell him. However, he might be able to understand one word… the name Marlena. That is where Doug’s pressured tone and the desperate look in his eyes might convey a message. Eli could get the impression that Doug doesn’t want to see Marlena, but is trying to say something about her.

Even though Eli thinks that Doug could just be rambling due to his “dementia,” the detective won’t be able to put it out of his mind. He won’t feel right until he goes to see Marlena for himself. In Eli’s mind, maybe Marlena will have an idea of what is making Doug so agitated whenever her name is mentioned.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers: John Black’s Horror

In the fall promo, Marlena is seen levitating over her bed. Meanwhile, John is furiously banging on the bedroom door. John is yelling through the wood asking if Marlena is okay. This could come after Eli drops by.

He might not be able to see or speak with Marlena, but could tell John about Doug. It might be one word or John connecting the dots, but something tips him off that Marlena’s in trouble. Could Eli unknowingly let John know that Marlena’s been repossessed? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out.
