Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) is possessed and doesn’t have dementia, as we previously speculated. Next, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is going to be reinfected as the devil takes over her body. When Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) tells Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) about the family secret, she turns to John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
Doug Williams Infected
DOOL spoilers reveal that Doug hasn’t been acting like himself lately. Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) continues to worry about her husband. Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) ran tests, which didn’t indicate any problem. Even though dementia was suspected, the timing of the bizarre behavior along with confirmation of Marlena’s possession was a bit odd.
On Friday’s episode, viewers saw that Doug is indeed possessed. However, the devil doesn’t plan on staying in Doug’s body.
DOOL Spoilers: Marlena Evans’ Repossession
Doug was just used as a tool to get to Marlena. As a possessed Doug told the psychiatrist, the devil wasn’t going to let her go. Nearly 30 years after being possessed, Marlena will have to go through it all over again.
Johnny DiMera’s Discovery
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the devil has shown itself to Marlena again. Meanwhile, Johnny is learning about the possession for the first time. Will Horton (Chandler Massey) sent his old script of “The Sami Brady Story” to Johnny. As the aspiring filmmaker read the script based on Sami DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) life, Johnny was stunned to find out that his grandmother was possessed by the devil.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: ‘Next-Level Crazy’ Story
Johnny tells Allie about what he discovered about Marlena. Allie isn’t sure if she believes that Marlena was possessed. Allie decides to get answers by turning to John. Arnold says of the storyline,
“This is next-level crazy, even for their family, where crazy things happen all the time. They’ve never gone into another dimension or brought in the afterlife, so this is the first time that Allie is like, ‘Okay, usually, it’s just humans being crazy and now we have the devil involved?’”
Allie asks John about the family secret, which he confirms. Allie knows that Johnny will do what he wants, but fears that her twin brother is opening up a door. What nobody realizes is that the devil is back in Salem and has already possessed one body.
“Allie definitely believes in the devil and hell and all of those things so I think for her, she’s a little nervous to get involved with that kind of energy and to even talk about it or taunt it, in a way.”
