Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Johnny’s Movie About Salem’s Dirty Laundry, Family Reacts
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the preview for the week of September 13 has been released. It focuses on Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) movie, which airs Salem’s dirty laundry. Actually, it’s focused on Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney), but a lot of other Salemites are about to have their secrets exposed to the world.
Movie Storyline Announced
DOOL spoilers reveal that ever since Johnny came back to Salem, he has been talking to everyone about investing in his movie. He doesn’t seem to be getting a lot of bites and viewers still don’t know what the movie is about. According to the weekly preview, which was posted on Twitter, the movie is about Sami’s life.
DOOL Spoilers: Daughter Plays Mother?
In the clip, Johnny asks Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) to play Sami. One thing about their relationship is that the roles are reversed. Sami seems like the child many times while Allie acts more responsible. It is teased in Soap Opera Digest that Johnny asks Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to play the lead role. So, either there are other leads besides the role of Sami, or Abigail turns down Johnny’s offer.
‘Jarlena’ Affair and Demonic Possession
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the preview shows John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) will have some storylines in the movie. However, it won’t be focusing on what great parents they were. It will focus on the most controversial “Jarlena” moments in history. One was how John and Marlena’s affair began, which was in 1993.
It was previously reported that Johnny’s movie was about Marlena’s possession, which aired in 1994. We think there is some truth to that. It might not be the focus of the movie, but one of the storylines. Anything that affected or molded Sami into the woman she is today would be relevant.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: EJ DiMera Slammed
It is also confirmed that the movie mentions Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) as being the love of Sami’s life. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) says that he is the love of Sami’s life, not Lucas. He tries to correct Johnny, but gets the response,
“Not in my movie!”
Ouch. Sorry, EJ. Maybe EJ would have been written more favorably in the movie if he had invested or at the very least, tried to be supportive.
Now that everyone knows what the movie is about, Johnny might find it more difficult to find investors. Not everyone wants their dirty laundry aired to the world or for ancient history to be dug up. So, Johnny might have to make a compromise or shelve the project altogether.
