Ben And Ciara Honeymoon In New Orleans

Days of Our Lives Ben and Ciara will head off to their honeymoon soon. In a recent interview the actors suggested a honeymoon in Italy. Ben and Ciara will ultimately decide to stick to the United States. Long time fans remember that Bo Brady (ex-Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) first made love in New Orleans at Oak Alley Plantation.

One gift could be the picture Hope had made years ago with the poem they recited as the pretend wedding at the plantation. The poem was the same one Bo’s parents had read at their wedding. There is also the music box that Bo bought Hope years ago. Will one of these be the nostalgic gift?

The Gem Story Parallels The Prism Story

The Days of Our Lives spinoff pulls Ben and Ciara to New Orleans. Could Ben and Ciara find the gems much like Bo and Hope being involved in the prism story years ago? The writers seem to want to writer Ben and Ciara as a modern-day Bo and Hope although some fans completely disagree.

However, the New Orleans adventure seems to have been written to emulate Bo and Hopes trip. Will we see gypsies and robbers? Will there be a crazy ex-girlfriend around? Will some of the old sites be revisited including the plantation?

Do Ben And Ciara Simply Want To Connect With Her Parents?

Days of Our Lives Ben and Ciara could simply want to visit New Orleans to feel closer to her parents. After all, Hope isn’t around, Bo has never met Ben, Ciara could simply miss her parents. Although there will never be another Bo and Hope, the New Orleans trip would be a great throwback to their time together.

After all, Bo and Hope were an iconic couple and Ben and Ciara are written to be like them. The emotional connection between Ben and Ciara is very similar to her parents. Longtime fans could see this as a great tribute to Bo and Hope.

No matter what the reason for the New Orleans trip, it will be nice to see something other than Ben trying to find Ciara or bring her memory back. It is time to get on with their romance after all this time apart.
