Amy Roloff is Getting Crafty with Fiancé Chris Marek Ahead of Their Wedding

The “Little People, Big World” star Amy Roloff will be marrying Chris Marek at the Roloff farms later this month. The soon-to-be married couple are anticipating their big day, and in honor of their nuptials, they’re unveiling a sweet wood project that pays tribute to their love, which they made together.

Amy Roloff Unveils Special Wedding Day Project

The TLC reality TV star, 56, shared three photos on Instagram this Sunday of an art project containing her and her soon-to-be husband’s initials, which is for their big day.

“We’re working together on a wood project for the wedding,” Amy wrote. “Chris is really doing all of it!”

She went on to confess that she played a small part in having the wooden project come together.

“My small part was to ‘brand’ it. Oops… the date is a little off but we’ll be the only ones that see it,” she continued. “C + A 8.28.21. Woohoo!”

Amy Roloff is not taking her upcoming wedding lightly, as the day before she unveiled the art project, she shared that it’s all “hands on deck” as her wedding day approaches.

“Me, @lisardixon13, and @pdx1dls decided a little wedding planning over chips and margaritas was the perfect course of action,” she wrote on Instagram Saturday. “Earlier, we took a tour of the farm where Chris joined us and we worked through some of our final plans. I can’t wait till the big day!”

Amy Roloff and Chris Marek’s Wedding Day Details

Amy Roloff and Chris Marek announced their engagement in September 2019. Later on, they confirmed in their reality show that they are to wed on August 28 at Roloff Farms, which is now solely owned by Amy’s ex-husband Matt Roloff.

Earlier this month, Matt, 59, shared the amount of construction happening on the farm as they prepare for Amy and Chris’ wedding day.

“Racing at full speed to get the new building finished before the big day @amyjroloff and Chris’ wedding day,” he captioned pictures of construction on the property. “Pulling out all the stops … 16 days and counting! @rolofffarms is looking good.”

Even though Matt is obviously overseeing the construction happening at his farm, he and his girlfriend Caryn Chandler will not be attending the wedding. During a recent “Little People, Big World” episode, Amy explained her reason for not inviting them, saying that she didn’t want it to feel awkward for anybody.

“I think it causes less drama and I think that’s better for everyone,” she added.

Though her ex-husband won’t be at the wedding, they remain on friendly terms and Matt has even been seen spending time with Chris several times.

Amy and Matt finalized their divorce in 2016 after being married for 29 years. They share twins Jeremy and Zach, 31, daughter Molly, 27, and son Jacob, 24.
