He’s not interested in DiMera Enterprises or being an executive. It turns out that he is trying to get a movie off the ground and is focused on finding investors.

When the father and son reunite, EJ just assumes that Johnny will follow in his footsteps. He expects him to join DiMera Enterprises. However, Johnny has a different career path in mind, so it sounds like he won’t be accepting the job offer.

DOOL Spoilers: Crushing On Chanel Dupree

Besides reuniting with EJ, Johnny will happily embrace Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Then, things get complicated when Johnny tells his twin sister all about the girl he met. It turns out that girl is none other than Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). He will be completely in lust with Chanel and the two will start a romance. However, fans are betting that the relationship doesn’t last as Allie still has feelings for her BFF and bakery partner.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of August 30 reveal why Johnny doesn’t want to join DiMera Enterprises. His career goals are more entertainment-focused. He has written a movie script and is trying to get the project off the ground. However, lack of money is a problem. Now, we are sure that Johnny would get paid very well if he took the job at DiMera Enterprises. However, it could interfere with his dream of becoming a movie maker.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Seeking Investors

With lack of funds an obstacle to Johnny’s dream, he starts pitching his movie to the people of Salem. Johnny wants to get this movie made and is probably confident it will do well. He turns to Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) and Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) for help. He doesn’t want a loan or donation but wants them to invest in the movie.

However, if that fails then perhaps it explains his real interest in Chanel. Could he try to get Chanel’s rich mother, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) to invest in his production? That brings up another question, though. Is Johnny’s movie legit or could he be scamming Salem? Is he just looking for an easy payout like Chanel did when she first arrived? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to find out how this storyline develops.
