Love After Lockup spoilers reveal that Doug has gotten arrested again! The last time we saw him he was proposing to Rachel with a new wedding ring, but it does look like he can’t change his ways. After all the warnings that Rachel got from her family, she continued to go back to him. Now, it looks like she will have to learn her lesson since he’s back in jail.
Their Love Story
Rachel and Doug have quite the love story. The couple met when Rachel was looking for an inmate to write to. She works as an engineer and when she saw Doug’s picture, she was instantly drawn to him. When he got out of prison, they ended up getting married and they had a very hard time living together.
The couple has a very hard time with communication and this was evident from day one. When they decided to surprise his family and go to Kalamazoo, that is when his family told Rachel that she needs to be careful with Doug. They all basically told her that he would cheat on her. Then his sister told Rachel that she knew he would be back in prison in no time.
Rachel Filed For Divorce
With all of the problems that the couple had, Rachel was ready to call it quits. She filed for divorce back in 2020, but it got put on hold due to some legal issues. She has filed again this year and it looks as if Doug was already dating someone back in May.
Doug’s family was right to tell Rachel what would happen if she stayed with him and it all came out. Doug has been in trouble with the law for trying to break his ankle monitor, but he did get arrested for drugs, car theft, and a loaded gun. He didn’t act alone with these crimes and they all happened in Kalamazoo, where his family lives.
