Head writer Ron Carlivati confirmed the storyline in the new issue of Soap Opera Digest. No additional details were given, so we still don’t know who Lani’s father is or why there is this big family secret.

What we do know is that Olivia and Paulina had made a pact many years ago that Lani would never know the truth. Apparently, that pact included Paulina staying far away from her daughter.
