Why Theresa Needs To Return To Days of Our Lives

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal Rachel Black being slightly SORAS’d soon, but it might be hard to remember that Brady has another child out there and that’s because he’s never mentioned. He’s Tate Black and he’s living in California with his mother, Theresa (Jen Lilley), a character who never fails to make things interesting and who some might say is the true love of Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) life.

Why Is Theresa Really Staying Away From Days of Our Lives and Salem?

Theresa ostensibly moved to California with Tate to take care of her mother, Kimberly Donovan (Patsy Pease), as Kim was suffering from cancer. We never saw her doctor sister, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), go out there and see how she was doing. But we did hear she was doing better. Too bad Theresa had to stay out there and still take care of her.

We’d like to imagine Theresa got herself in a little bit of trouble in California with a Mexican drug lord or something of the sort because how could Theresa not get herself in trouble — even if she was taking care of a small child and a sick mother. But it is also time for her to return to Salem for several reasons. One of those reasons is a directionless Brady.

Brady Black Is Always In Love

One can write a theme song for Brady that sounds a lot like the late Debbie Reynolds singing “Tammy, Tammy, Tammy’s in love” and just replace the word “Tammy” with “Brady” because Brady Black is always in love. All a woman has to do is look at him with kind eyes the second he loses another relationship, and Brady is in love again.

Except with Theresa, it actually made sense for these two broken people to fall in love and raise their child together. The only thing that tore them apart was Jen Lilley’s desire to make a whole lot of Hallmark movies. If DAYS could work something out with Alison Sweeney (Sami) to take a Hallmark movie break and spend some time in Salem, why can’t it do the same with Lilley?

Kristen DiMera Would Meet Her Match

We know that Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) always manages to return to Salem and will never stop being obsessed with Brady. Can you even imagine Theresa and Kristen going at it to see which woman should have Brady? How many masks will Kristen don and would Theresa even let her get that far?
