Linsey Godfrey Is A Cancer Survivor

Florida-born Linsey Godfrey was just a teen when she began traveling to California for auditions and eventually moved there to live with family friends. She quickly landed roles on One Tree Hill and Surface before having to take a break from her career. She was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, but is now considered cancer-free.

Linsey Godfrey Becomes A Soap Star

After her battle with cancer, Godfrey landed the role of Caroline Spencer on The Bold and the Beautiful, where she fell in love with a bunch of Forresters, including Rick (Jacob Young), Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), and Thomas (then, Pierson Fode). She eventually gave birth to Thomas’s son while married to Ridge. The character was said to have died when living in New York and with Thomas, but that always seemed a bit mysterious.

Linsey Godfrey Becomes A Mom

While on the Bold and the Beautiful, Godfrey met The Young and the Restless star Robert Adamson (Noah) and they became engaged. Godfrey gave birth to their daughter, Aleda, in 2014, but she and Adamson eventually broke off their engagement. Sadly, she suffered another health setback when she was struck by a car. After her recovery, she went back to work.

Linsey Godfrey Lands In Salem

Godfrey landed the role of Sarah Horton on Days of Our Lives in 2018 and blew into town like a hurricane. She was engaged to Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), bedded Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), but eventually fell for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) who she was going to marry before Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) kidnapped her. We don’t know where Sarah is now but we’d sure like to see her.

The year 2021 has been a big one for Linsey Godfrey. Just before leaving DAYS, she announced that she’d been diagnosed with having a personality disorder and being bipolar.
