However, he’s changed a lot since then. Their insults and threats are done in a way that they seem more like annoying BFFs, though. Could we be looking at a changing dynamic?

DOOL spoilers reveal that head writer Ron Carlivati seems to enjoy odd friendships and romances. These include Xander and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), as well as Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). There was Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow), as well as Xander and Jack Deveraux.

Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) had a brief friendship with Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves/Cady McClain) and is also paired with Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth). When it comes to Xander and Nicole, there is a long and volatile history. The villain did terrible things to Nicole and her daughter. He changed a lot when he fell in love with Sarah Horton (Lindsay Arnold), though.

The night Nicole cheated on Days of Our Lives, she got drunk and started chatting with Xander. Interestingly enough, he actually listened to Nicole vent about Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). He threw some comments about Eric in there once in a while, but he actually listened.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander blackmailed Nicole to get a job at Basic Black. Now, if he really wanted to tell everyone about their one-night stand, he would have done it already. Xander really enjoys tormenting Nicole and with the job, he can do it each day and get paid for it. What is interesting is Nicole acts moody and tough, but she seems to like the threats and insults, too.

Xander gave Nicole ammunition on Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney). There wasn’t an incentive for that detail. He gave it to her for free and they went back and forth while discussing it. Their conversation seemed more like BFFs who insult and annoy each other for fun. The way it was exhibited was completely different than how it’s been in the past.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Public Judgment

Xander and Nicole are clearly becoming friends. However, Nicole probably won’t ever admit it. Everyone knows what Xander did to her and they would definitely judge her. Some might even think she’s gone crazy. Just imagine if Eric ever discovered that the two are on friendly terms.

Some of the odd friendships are enjoyable and interesting. It mixes things up and the popular saying might be true, opposites do attract. What do you think of Xander and Nicole’s recent scenes?
