Jackée Harry Teases Scandals And Secrets

DOOL spoilers reveal that before Paulina made her big debut, the actress teased what fans could expect. One tidbit she shared was that Paulina is a woman whose history includes lots of scandals and secrets. She also hinted that not all of these would be brought to the surface right away.

We know that Paulina is keeping a secret about her plans for Horton Town Square. It has also been confirmed that she has a traumatic past, which she shares with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). It turns out there might be one more secret and is has to do with Chanel.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: No Grandchildren Slip

On Tuesday’s episode, Paulina crossed paths with Chanel and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). They talked about babies and Paulina gushed about Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant’s (Sal Stowers) twins. Then, Paulina mentioned never being able to have grandchildren. She stopped herself and realized that Chanel and Allie didn’t catch her slip of the tongue.

In another scene in Tuesday’s episode, Chanel called Paulina “mama.” It caused Paulina to get visibly upset and Chanel didn’t understand what she said wrong.

Lani Price Grant Explodes

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eli and Lani’s one-year wedding anniversary celebration will erupt in chaos. It happens at the same time as the groundbreaking ceremony for Horton Town Square. It was assumed that the two were connected, and Lani exploding at Paulina had something to do with Horton Town Square.

However, the latest information suggests that Lani will be upset about Paulina lying to Abe. However, the reason for her fury might be regarding a big family secret.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Comforting Chanel Dupree

It is confirmed that Chanel is devastated by Paulina’s lies and secrets. At first, we thought that Chanel wouldn’t be able to open her bakery because of Paulina’s plans. While we can understand that being upsetting, “devastated” isn’t the right word for that. It sounds like something that affects her on an emotional level. Allie even rushes to her friend’s side to comfort her. Could the bombshell be that she’s been lied to her entire life?

So, if Paulina isn’t Chanel’s mom, then who is? We don’t know a lot about the Price family tree, but it is believed that Paulina has one sister, Tamara Price (Marilyn Coos). You would think Lani would remember her mother being pregnant, but sometimes people can hide their baby bumps. There is also the age issue that makes it seem unlikely. This is why we are wondering if there are other secret family members in the Price family.

Another possibility is that Chanel’s mother isn’t a relative of Paulina. It might be the biological child of Paulina’s assistant in Miami. At one point, Paulina and Chanel talked about this assistant and all the mistakes she makes. Apparently, it’s a regular occurrence but the woman is still employed by Paulina. Most would have been replaced by now. So, we have to wonder if there is a story there, as well. Decades ago, secrets about biological parents happened all the time. Due to Chanel’s age, there would be really no logical reason to keep her real mother a secret. We have to wonder if the reason is to protect her. Could Chanel’s mother have been in serious trouble? Maybe the baby daddy was an evil monster that should never be around a child? There are so many possibilities of which direction this story could go in.
