He is unphased by Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) corpse. Death is nothing new for the ex-serial killer and explains his cool demeanor. However, some are convinced that it’s only a matter of time before the Necktie Killer emerges once again.

Serial Killer Days

DOOL spoilers reveal that several years ago, a serial killer was roaming Salem. The murder’s calling card was just a necktie, which was used to strangle the victims. Viewers were shocked to learn that the killer was Ben Weston.

He has since been treated for his psychosis and as long as he keeps taking the medication, he is stable. Even though Ben is a good guy these days, there always seems to be someone that wants vengeance. Some of those people have even targeted the most important person in Ben’s life, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal).

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Dead Body In Lake

Last week, Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) got themselves in quite the predicament. Even though Dr. Snyder seems to have died from a heart attack or another medical condition, there will be too many questions. Xander and Gwen know that their story probably won’t be believed. They end up disposing of the body in the lake.

As for why they are hiding the body when no murder was committed, Xander has an extensive rap sheet. Plus, there are people in town who still believe Gwen murdered Laura. So, a dead body — even if the cause was natural — will cause a lot of legal complications for them both.

Ben Weston Too Calm

Actor Robert Scott Wilson spoke to Soap Opera Digest about the dead body in the lake. It is stated that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) will all be disturbed and horrified by the discovery. The one person who remains calm as a cucumber is Ben. Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Ben’s not even nervous when police ask him questions.

Knowing that some fans will be concerned about Ben’s reaction, the actor offered a simple explanation.

“I specifically remember playing it like trying to keep it almost somewhat cool, because Ben Weston, he’s seen a few dead bodies, so I didn’t want to have him freak out… They’re like, ‘A dead body!’ and they all have that shocked face and I was just trying to keep it calm.”

Will Ben go back to his serial killing ways? It is unlikely considering the path that writers have him on right now. However, that doesn’t mean the Necktie Killer will stay subdued forever. Let us know what you think of how Ben reacts to the dead body.
