Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is devastated. He turns to Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). However, when he makes a pass at her, Gabi slaps him across the face. Later, he apologizes and that is when the two end up in bed together. They will both get a shock, though, when Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) reveals a bombshell.
Jake DiMera Makes A Pass
DOOL spoilers reveal that Jake is bewildered when he is dumped by Kate, who was really Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). He will try to wrap his head around it and then decides to make a pass at Gabi. It’s no secret that Gabi has wanted Jake ever since she came back from Mexico. However, she has seemingly moved on with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson). At least, that is what they want everyone to think.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Slap Reaction
When Jake comes on to Gabi, he doesn’t get the reaction he is looking for. Instead of her jumping at the chance to sleep with him, Gabi responds by slapping him right across the face. He ends up leaving, with his head spinning — both literally and figuratively. Then, he returns later to apologize to her.
Gabi Hernandez’s Advice
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that when Jake apologizes, Gabi gives him a piece of advice. Despite having his heart ripped out by Kristen wearing a Kate mask, Gabi tells him not to give up on love. Jake also gets relationship advice from someone unexpected: Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Despite Xander being the last person anyone should get love advice from, he actually makes sense to Jake. He realizes that Gabi is the person he has wanted all along.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Reunion And Revelation
Jake pours his heart out to Gabi and he means it. Even though viewers will be stunned at how quickly Jake moves on from Kate, there is a reason for that. Barash explained to Soap Opera Digest that Jake and Gabi end up sleeping together, but it’s not a mistake and not a rebound. Of course, that would be the time when the real Kate shows up. When she does, she drops a shocking bombshell on both of them.
“Once that relationship [with Kate] ended, he’s like, ‘Oh, I can think about this again’ and it enters your mind and you’re given the room to let it breathe and percolate and suss out what’s going to happen, so he lets it in a little bit… It marks a new chapter for them [Jake and Gabi]. Jake wholeheartedly knows it’s not a mistake. When it really catches up with him is when Kate shows up…”
