Little People, Big World Spoilers: Amy Roloff Fans Rally Around Amy’s Spin-Off
TLC’s reality show ‘Little People, Big World’ returns on May 11. Viewers who have been watching the Oregon-based, farm-owning family for the past 20 seasons will catch up with how the family has been hunkering down since the pandemic.
But avid viewers can attest the show has transformed a lot from what it once was due to the changes in Matt and Amy Roloff’s relationship since they divorced five years ago and with Jeremy and Audrey Roloff’s exit from the show in 2018.
Since the reality series is many months behind in reality, with the upcoming episodes filmed in early 2020, a number of fans are losing interest in the drama, especially with Matt Roloff and girlfriend Caryn Chandler, who fans branded as “toxic.”
Amy and Chris Marek, her fiancé for over three years now, have also planned to get married in either late summer or early fall. With Amy and Chris advancing their relationship to the next level, life on the Roloff farm is going to be different now. Amy’s fans are calling for Amy to get her own spin-off.
Away from Home to a New Home
Season 21 was filmed shortly after Amy has moved off the farm into her own place with Chris. In the super teaser, Chris isn’t feeling like he’s wanted in Amy’s “home.”
“It kind of irritates me that I go to the trouble of clearing out a space and I come back and you’ve put stuff in it. You’re not creating space for me,” Chris said in the sneak peek.
Amy confessed at that time she still has to warm in her own house after living so many decades of her life on the farm. Since Amy is set to sail on a different journey with a real state agent Chris, fans are afraid she no longer has a big role on the farm. The time for Amy and Matt to divide their assets into the family business has also arrived.
“I always knew that in the end, he would want it all,” Amy tells the cameras in the teaser.
Zach Roloff, hearing the news that his father Matt wants to buy her mom out, contemplates co-owning and running the family farm.
Since the show has centralized on their life at the farm, fans are concerned they might not see more of Amy since she has moved out from there. So they are requesting her spin-off that features the life and adventures of Amy and Chris, especially that the couple will soon get married. Fans believe TLC can develop better storylines from that.
