Sami was horrified and Lucas was happy when they woke up one morning in John and Marlena’s townhouse a few weeks ago and realized they’d slept with one another. But Sami could never let EJ know and needed it to stay a secret.

Too bad Kristen (in her Susan get-up) caught Lucas leaving that morning and began blackmailing Sami that’s she’d tell EJ if she didn’t keep Chloe away from Brady. That prompted Sami to order Lucas to romance Chloe and he did this by telling her he was dying of a brain tumor because that’s just what popped out of his mouth. It all seemed unbelievable to Chloe because it was.

Well, now the jig is up for everyone — sorta. Chloe figured out that Lucas only lied to her that he had a brain tumor. Brady figured out that Kristen has been with him all along — just dressed as Susan, and somehow Lucas and Sami end up locked in the DiMera tunnels, according to the Days of Our Lives spoilers promo. Uh-oh!

Is this what brings EJ back to town. We do know a recast EJ is returning this summer in the form of Australian actor Danie Feuerriegel. Sami says this new EJ is not like the old EJ and instead, he is very brooding and angry. Will he want revenge on Lucas? This may not end pretty at all.
