‘Little People, Big World’ Teaser: Amy Considers A Farm Wedding, Matt Wants to Own Amy’s Family Farm Portion
TLC debut teaser for “Little People, Big World” on social media as it is set to return for another season, chronicling “new beginnings and big milestones with the Roloffs.”
The super teaser showed scenes for fans to catch up with the Oregon-based family as they face farm life amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Fate of the Farm
The teaser showed bulldozers tearing down a watchtower on Roloff’s farm, which could be a sign that Matt is expanding his many plans for the property.
A conversation between the couple Zach and Tori hinted at the farm development when Zach asked her wife, “Did you hear my dad’s going to buy my mom out” while on a walk with their daughter Lilah Ray and son Jackson Kyle. Tori responded, “Is that a good thing?”
Zach has also been contemplating co-owning and running the family farm with his dad, Matt. It was last year when Amy sold her 32 acres to Matt for $975,000 and just this March, the U.S. Sun reported Matt was renting out the main house to a female employee. Mark sees it as a smart business opportunity for the meantime since Caryn, Matt’s former personal assistant and now girlfriend, refuses to live there.
In another scene, Caryn is seen addressing the issues thrown at her. She told Tori: “I think the saddest thing that I deal with Matt is that people think that I’m with him because, ‘Oh, she must be a gold digger, or she must be this,’ and it’s like, ‘Why do you have to think that?’”
It has been five years since Matt and Amy divorced in 2016 and a different scene showed they have finally sat on dividing the assets to their family farm. They have co-owned the farm for over 30 years and have raised their children there. However, Amy is not surprised with Matt’s decision and told the cameras: “I always knew that in the end, he would want it all.”
A New Home
A conflict sparked between Amy and her fiancé Chris as she welcomes her home. As they sit in the kitchen, Amy told Chris, “I have a feeling this is not really home to you.” But Chris reasoned out while addressing the clutter on the kitchen counter and explained: “It irritates me that I go to the trouble of clearing out a space and I come back and you put stuff in it. You’re not creating space for me.”
Beautiful in White
Amy and her fiancée Chris seen having dinner together with friends as she announced they have a date for their wedding. In another scene, Amy was filmed trying on a white wedding gown saying: “I’m surprised that I’m getting married again.” A confessional scene revealed Amy’s plans on having the farm, her old home with Matt, as a possibility of a venue.
“The Beginning of A Long Journey”
The younger couple Tori and Zach will have to face a long journey concerning their children’s health. Zach describes it as the “beginning of a long journey” as his two children might need surgeries. Tori revealed their daughter, Lilah might need faced surgery even after wearing glasses for her crossed eyes while Jackson’s legs are also starting to bow.
The show’s newest episode will premiere on May 11, 2021.
