Life After Lockup spoilers reveal that fans know all too well about Lacey’s love triangle. Since she first appeared on the reality show, she was torn between Shane Whitlock and John Slater. Eventually, she settled on Shane and the two got married. Then, they decided to have a child but it wouldn’t come easily. She had a tube reversal and did get pregnant. Unfortunately, it was a tubal pregnancy and was not viable. That is when they went through IVF and got pregnant with triplets. In the end, only one baby survived but it gave the couple a daughter.

Reality TV And Relationships

During an interview with Screenrant, Lacey was asked how being on reality TV affected her relationship. It certainly didn’t make it any easier but what she did say is that it changed the timing of their issues. For most couples, they’ll go through a few bumps here and there. For Shane and Lacey, everyone happened all at once in the beginning.

As for as going through difficult times in her marriage, Lacey said that there has been a lot of trial and error. They had to go through so much together in such a short period of time. The reality star explained,

“Rather than someone that just meets and maybe goes through that later on in their relationship or marriage, we had all the tough stuff happen first. I feel like if we got through that, then maybe we can get through anything together. It’s a lot of trial and error, forgiveness and rebuilding trust, and just trying not to give up on each other.”

Being 100% Transparent

Life After Lockup spoilers reveal that on the show, Lacey was seen going back and forth between men. Even though some people might have not been comfortable with the world seeing that, Lacey feels being transparent is important. She also explained that there was a lot going on that led up to that which was never filmed. So, viewers really never got the whole picture. But at the end of the day, Lacey admits she’s always learning and growing.

“That was what was going on in my life, and unfortunately nobody was here to film all the details. But that was a decision that I made. Maybe I’m learning and growing from everything, and trying to figure out like what’s a better way of handling the situation.”
