Seeking Sister Wife spoilers reveal that Garrick and Dannielle Merrifield may be in a lot of hot water this year. This couple has made a lot of viewers curious if they are even the real thing. They have talked about how they are willing to get a divorce in order to marry a sister wife from Brazil. It seems like a plot from 90 Day Fiance, but there is a lot more to their bizarre story.
Highlights of the Last Episode
Fans were happy to see the return of Seeking Sister Wife, but they can’t help wondering what is up with a few of these couples. On the March 29th episode, we got a chance to hear more about the Merrifields. They have been married for over 12 years and they have two children together. When the couple does talk about divorice, clearly it will affect them as well.
It looks like they will divorce, but it will work in the same way as Kody Brown and Meri Brown’s did. They got a divorce legally so that he could marry another wife, but kept Meri as his first. Garrick and Dannielle hope to use this method so that they can marry their girlfriend from Brazil.

Bankruptcy and DUI
The drama doesn’t stop with divorce though. The Merrifields filed for bankruptcy back in 2014 and most of it was from student loan debt. They moved to Colorado shortly after and now they have even more issues popping up in their history.
The couple has some more court filings on their records and in 2016, Dannielle was pulled over and received a DUI. She was also charged with misdemeanor child abuse with no injury and a lane change violation. It looks as if one or both of her children were in the car when she was driving under the influence, but she has yet to address this incident with fans. Perhaps we will hear more about it on the show.
