June Shannon, a reality TV star from Mama June: From Not to Hot has been struggling with health and family issues. Mama June said she might die in the next six months if nothing is done about her condition. The reality TV star would like to seek her children’s forgiveness while she still can. The matriarch of the family also wants to see her children before the judge passes her jail sentence for her 2019 arrest.
Mama June Wants Doe Doe’s Help
With jail time still in the works for Mama June and her boyfriend Geno Doak, Mama June is quite uncertain about future appearances on the fifth season of the reality show, Mama June: Road to Redemption. Mama’s lawyer rescheduled the couple’s court date after they suddenly received a phone call to appear in court. Mama wants to put her affairs in order before the next court date. She has not seen her kids since her daughter, Lauryn “Pumpkin” Shannon gained custody of her younger sibling Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson after June went to jail.
Mama June and Geno Doak arrived at Joanne “Doe Doe” Shannon’s residence for information about the kids but Doe Doe was not helpful. Mama June explained to her sister that she is facing up to two years imprisonment while her boyfriend is facing up to ten years and she only wants to ensure her kids are fine before the sentence. Doe Doe promises to call Pumpkin to know if the kids are ready to see their mother or not.
Mama June’s Struggles with her Health
Doe Doe said she has noticed the walker Mama uses in her new videos, wondering if it was a result of Mama’s drug issues. June Shannon then revealed that she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 Lymphedema which could take her life in six months if she is unable to do anything about it. She also revealed that the condition is connected to swelling in her lymph nodes. One of Mama’s arms was six inches bigger than the other while one of the matriarch’s legs was thirteen inches bigger than the other.
Doe Doe was visibly shaken by Mama’s revelation, closing her eyes for a moment to take in the terrible news. But, Joanne revealed she would leave the decision to see their mother or not in the children’s hands. She only does not want to be the only thing standing in the way of the mother-children reunion if Mama June indeed succumbs to the condition.

Joanne Thinks Mama June is Selfish
Doe Doe also revealed to the fans of Mama June: From Not to Hot her thoughts about her sister, June Shannon. Joanne ” Doe Doe” Shannon said that June only cares about herself. She said the matriarch is always making self-centered decisions regardless of whether she is under the influence of drugs or not. To cite a recent example of June’s selfish actions, Joanne asked her why she did not put a call through or send a text to assure her family that she was fine.
Mama told Joanne she could not call because she has been trying to reach her children but they did not pick her calls. Doe Doe told her sister point-blank that the girls did not pick her calls because her actions hurt every member of the family.
Mama June defended herself by telling fans about how she and her boyfriend struggle daily. The matriarch explained that having her children back in her life will help her tremendously.
