Speaking to Us Weekly in a new interview, Christine put it this way, “The thing that I struggled with most is when I feel like I don’t have a say or when I feel like I’m not as important or things like that. Anytime we’ve had major decisions, I go through a time where I’m like, ‘Does my opinion really even matter here?’ That’s when we struggle the most … is when I feel like I don’t really have a say or I don’t really have an opinion.”

Christine went on to say that she often doesn’t feel as though she’s Kody’s equal in their marriage. But thankfully, she says the two of them have been “steady.”

With that said, Christine also added that it’s been difficult to watch Kody have his issues with Meri Brown. In fact, Kody and Meri’s drama have been front and center this season as the two of them have been attending therapy sessions with the hope that they can save their relationship.

For Christine, she says that it’s been super heartbreaking for not just them, but everyone else in their extended family. She said, “It’s been really, really sad [to watch],” Christine said on Thursday. “I know that she still has so much hope and she still is as positive as she can be. She’s super-duper strong. Every relationship goes through hard times.”
