Life After Lockup spoilers reveal that Lacey Whitlow recently had a child with her husband, Shane Whitlow. The couple went through a tube reversal and then IVF. Lacey recently opened up about the struggle and process, which she says led to the couple having a strong bonding experience.

Lacey Whitlow’s Love Triangle

Life After Lockup spoilers reveal that fans know that Lacey had a love triangle on the reality show. She was talking to two different inmates. One was Shane and the other was John Slater. Shane was released from prison first, so the two had a chance to bond quicker and more deeply. However, John wasn’t willing to give up Lacey. However, in the end, Lacey chose Shane and the two are now married with a child.

Tube Reversal

Speaking to Screenrant, Lacey explained that Shane really wanted a biological child of his own. So, she went through a tube reversal and did become pregnant. However, the embryo implanted inside the tube, which means it was not a viable pregnancy. It was incredibly painful for them, Lacey explained. The couple’s next step was to try in-vitro fertilization (IVF).

Shane and Lacey went through the process of getting IVF done and learned that they were pregnant with triplets. However, two of the embryos didn’t survive. However, one did and they now have a child together.

Strong Bonding Experience

Lacey told the publication that going through IVF was an incredible and strong bonding experience for her and Shane.

“That led us to pursue IVF, and that by itself was just an incredible bonding experience and journey. Because he became a pro at helping me with the injections; he did all of them. Creating these beautiful babies was just an amazing process, and I really think that it brought us closer together. Definitely.”

Life After Lockup: More Babies In The Future?

Even though Lacey says their goal was to have one healthy baby, which their daughter is, what about the future? She admitted that you never know and it’s always possible they might have more in the future.

“I think our goal from the very beginning was to have one healthy baby. That was our ultimate goal. So, who knows what the future holds? It’s a possibility, you never know.”
