New Pawn Stars Episodes Starting Soon?

Are new Pawn Stars episodes coming?  For fans of The HISTORY Channel, Chumlee, and especially the Pawn Stars series, this will be good news for them. Pawn Stars has delighted a lot of fans for over a decade since it started in 2009. However, the series has not been aired for a while by the HISTORY Channel because of the coronavirus restriction protocols.

People who are not familiar with or heard about Pawn Stars will be wondering what it is all about. Well, the Pawn Stars show centers around a family that deals in the buying back of relics and souvenirs from people who bring them into their store.

The store which goes by the name of Gold & Silver Pawnshop, is owned by the family, made up of Rick Harrison, his son Corey Harrison, and Austin Russell, otherwise known as “Chumlee”.

The 18th season of Pawn Stars is going on regardless of the setbacks caused by the pandemic as the family shop has opened up for business.

Rick told an online magazine during an interview that they had to start the filming of the current season because they were contacted by HISTORY Channel to get them new episodes. The months of lockdown to curb the spread of the coronavirus caused a lot of TV channels to recycle content because they could not air new ones. He also said they started production of the 18th season quite early because they had a business to run.

Chumlee’s Instagram Take On The Coronavirus Pandemic

Chumlee is naturally a joker on the Pawn Stars show. In March last year, he was having serious trouble breathing, as well as feeling severe pains in his abdominal area. He got himself admitted into a hospital to diagnose what was the exact problem with his health. He made a post on his Instagram account from his hospital bed where he joked that he was probably down with coronavirus.

In another post on Chumlee’s Instagram stories, he said that the doctors were running some tests and jokingly ended it by saying that he felt like going to the john.  Funny guy, right?

The Location Of Pawn Stars’ Gold & Silver Pawnshop

The renowned family shop is located in the glamourous city of Las Vegas, Nevada. The Pawn Stars shop is open to customers from 10 am to 5 pm every day, though it is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. Customers who want to purchase items from the shop are attended to 24/7.
