However, while the character has a lot of fans, there are some viewers who just can’t forget his past. When it comes to the actor, there is a lot he admires and respects about Ben. He explained Ben’s faith and showing change is possible are some of his biggest assets.
Two Different Extremes On Days Of Our Lives
DOOL spoilers reveal that when we first met Ben years ago when Jordan Ridgeway (Chrishell Stause) was still dating Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering). He was a good guy back then, although he did have issues from being abused by Clyde Weston (James Read). Jordan took her little brother on the run to give him a better life.
Then came the day when Ben was revealed as the Necktie Killer. He instantly became a hated character when Ben murdered Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
Then, the character evolved once again when Ben was released from Bayview with antipsychotics and Will ended up being alive after all. The character went through a redemption process.
DOOL Spoilers: Viewers Remain Divided
Even though Ben has done a lot of good things and has not returned to killing people, fans remain divided. Some are diehard fans of the character and ship “Cin” 100 percent. Then there are others who will never be able to get past Ben’s serial killing storyline.

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Wilson thinks pretty highly of his character. In fact, he gave Soap Opera Digest a list of good qualities about the reformed serial killer. He explained, “There’s always possibility with change. There’s always room for improvement, to have faith over fear. It’s important to remain grounded and have faith, and that’s one of Ben’s greatest qualities.”

Ben isn’t the only one who has learned something from the character he plays on DOOL. Camila Banus said Gabi Hernandez taught her to never give up. As fans know, Gabi is relentless and tenacious when she wants something. Right now, that just happens to be Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
As for the other soaps, Elizabeth Hendrickson plays Chloe Mitchell on The Young and the Restless. She said that she’s learned never to steal a baby. Sofia Mattsson plays Sasha Gilmore in General Hospital. She advised fans to never pretend to be someone else’s daughter. As for The Bold and the Beautiful, Delon de Metz (Zende Forrester) learned how to be politely confrontational. Hope Logan taught actress Annika Noelle to not wallow in sadness. Then there is Courtney Hope, who played Sally Spectra on B&B, then went to Y&R. She learned to speak up when she wants something.
