In a recent interview with a tabloid as part of promoting the new season of Sisters Wives, Meri Brown said she does not concur with her husband, Kody Brown, that their marriage lacks “significance”. The statement is heavy with meaning but is there a hint of divorce somewhere? Let’s hope not.

Sister Wives Spoilers – Kody Brown’s Statement Rings Untrue

It will be recalled that 52-year-old Kody made some comments about his marriage to Meri in an episode of the show in February. In the episode, Kody said their marriage was of no value to him. This sentiment was refuted by his 50-year-old wife, Meri.

She said that despite the several moments that were not so rosy between them during the show, Kody’s statement lacked merit. She further went on to say that though his statements about their marriage hurt her, but that she respects his right to think about things from a perspective different from hers.

In the interview, she admitted that things could be better between her and Sister Wives cast member Kody, as they could communicate better. She also said that Kody has always been honest with her about their relationship, giving her the option to walk away from the marriage if she chooses to.

Meri confesses that the thought of walking away often lingered in her mind some years back, especially in the wake of the catfishing embarrassment. In the end, she decided to remain committed to the marriage and the Sisters Wives family.

Sister Wives Updates – Divorce Is Not An Option

There is one thing that Sister Wives Kody and Meri agree upon though. As shocking and surprising as it may be, they both agree that there are no grounds for getting a divorce. Wow! That’s a real shocker yeah? With the divorce rate in the united states among the highest in the world, it is surprising to know they both share the same sentiment on the subject.

In an interview with a newspaper last February, Kody said he was not ready to throw in the towel as regards his marriage with Meri, as he was not a believer in divorce. That is rather strange for a well-known polygamist like Kody. This sentiment he says is shared by Meri. He admitted that his marriage with Meri was not in the best shape, but that more communication between them could help them heal the cracks in their marriage.

This will be good news for some viewers of the Sisters Wives show.

Kody and Meri have been a couple for over three decades, with their 25-year-old daughter Mariah, the product of their wedlock. A man known for his outlandish polygamist lifestyle, Kody has three other wives: Christine Brown, Janelle Brown, and Robyn Brown.
