Royal Family News: Meghan Markle Racism Allegations Spark Search For Royal Racist

British Royal family news reveals amid the many bombshells dropped by Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry during Oprah Winfrey’s interview, the revelation about racism has sparked the most shock. Meghan, who has a Black mother and white father, revealed that prior to their son Archie’s birth, she was subjected to “concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

Harry followed up on Markle’s statement, emphasizing that he would not reveal who had made that comment. Meghan also declined to state the name of the individual.

“That conversation, I’m never going to share,”Harry stated. “But at the time, it was awkward. I was a bit shocked.”

And in the wake of those comments, a search has begun. The hunt is reminiscent of the speculation about Watergate’s Deep Throat. But while Deep Throat was the alias of the person who spilled the dirt on Watergate, so far no one has stepped forward and revealed any clues as to who might be the individual mentioned by Harry and Meghan.

Queen and Prince William Address Racism Allegations

What we do know: Oprah Winfrey shared that Harry had told her neither the Queen nor her husband Philip made the racist statements. And the Queen did speak out, expressing concern about that aspect of Meghan and Harry’s interview.

But rather than slam anyone who made such statements, the Queen hinted that she has doubts, saying that “”some recollections may vary.” The Palace statement also made it clear that the royal family regards any follow-up as a private matter.

Harry’s brother William, however, was more direct in following up on the racism comments. William responded to a reporter who asked if he thought the royal family is racist.

“We’re very much not a racist family,” insisted William.

In addition to placing bets, social media is filled with speculation about who made the bigoted comments about the skin color of Meghan’s child. In contrast to the odds, Prince William and Prince Charles appear to be the most frequently mentioned.

Meanwhile, behind the closed doors of the Palace, Queen Elizabeth allegedly is determined to question her royal relatives about Markle’s and Harry’s racism claims. Among those she reportedly might quiz are Kate Middleton, Camilla, Princess Alexandra, Princess Anne, and Prince Edward.
