Royal Family News: Fans Believe Jill Biden’s Lemon-Print Dress Was A Nod to Meghan MarkleBritish Royal family news reveals maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it was a message, or maybe Dr. Jill Biden and Meghan Markle just have the same taste when it comes to fashion. The First Lady of the United States wore a lemon-print Oscar de la Renta dress on International Women’s Day that the Duchess of Sussex also wore in one of her most recent Zoom calls.

A lot of royal fans from both sides of the pond believe this might be Dr. Jill Biden’s way of showing her support to Meghan, who recently revealed that her mental health had suffered while she was still a full-time working member of the royal family and that she also experienced suicidal thoughts while pregnant. Here’s what you need to know.

Fans Believe Jill Biden’s Lemon-Print Oscar de la Renta Dress Was A Nod to Meghan Markle

Dr. Biden’s lemon-print Oscar de la Renta dress drew comparisons to a similar style recently worn by Meghan Markle. Biden’s dress ($2,890) bore a striking resemblance to the sleeveless peplum dress ($3,490) that Markle wore during Spotify’s Stream On event several weeks ago. Biden’s dress included short sleeves and a longer hemline, while Markle’s version was above-the-knee and a little looser for her growing baby bump.

Of course, it didn’t take long at all for fans to comment on the similarities of the two dresses. Many took to their social media accounts to write, “I’m choosing to believe flotus Jill Biden wore this Oscar de la Renta in solidarity with #MeghanMarkle,” along with, “@FLOTUS wore this @OscardelaRenta dress for her event today. Meghan Markle wore the similar version last month. I don’t believe in coincidences.”
