Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Another Murder Suspect Emerges As Rafe Goes On The Hunt Again

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that soon Sami DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will be exonerated in the murder of Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will go on the hunt again in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sami DiMera Stumbled Upon The Murder Scene

Days of Our Lives viewers will remember that Sami’s defense, although a flimsy sounding one, was that she stumbled upon the murder scene and had picked up the gun. She confessed everything to her ex-husband – one of them – and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) father, Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo). She thought she recognized the gun, and had gone to the bathroom to get a towel to wipe her prints off it when Rafe arrived.

Wiping the gun was considered disturbing a crime scene, and that could cause some legal trouble for Sami as well, but not nearly as serious as being arrested for murder! Most likely Lucas encourages Sami to tell her attorney, in this case her half-sister Belle Black (Martha Madison) everything she told him, especially considering Belle had already threatened to leave Sami on her own if she didn’t quit lying!

Perhaps he will convince her that one’s defense attorney needs all the information pertaining to the case, good or bad, so that an effective defense can be prepared! But Sami will need to include the information of whose gun she thought it was; and Belle already suspected Sami was covering up for someone. That could be one of two “someones”, and possibly three that Belle and Sami both would have wanted to protect! The most obvious “someones” would be their daughters and Belle’s father!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Three Suspects, Three Stories, Three Alibis? Someone Won’t Have One!

Once Rafe knows the whole truth of what happened and why Sami was there with a towel, there may be as many as three suspects that either Sami, Belle, or both would want to protect! The first two of course would be Allie, who was ready to take a page out of her mother’s playbook and shoot Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) in the family jewels, had his birth mother Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) not shown up, and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant).

As Days of Our Lives viewers will remember, Claire may be lucid now and seem to be mentally well, but it wasn’t that long ago that she tried to set fire to a cabin that her own aunt Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) was in, and then one that Tripp was in with Haley Chen (Thia Megia)! Claire may have had means, motive and opportunity to murder Charlie, but it could be argued that shooting someone is not her M.O. (modus operandi, method of operation in a criminal sense).

The third person would be John Black (Drake Hogestyn)! Sami, being his stepdaughter and one time having that gun held on her when she kidnapped Belle! That was a long time ago but she would recognize that gun, more than likely! Would Sami want to protect John? That is the big question –but since Allie loves her step-grandfather Sami would want to protect him and Belle would too! John’s problem will come in when he blacked out and doesn’t remember all of what happened the night Charlie died, and he had gone after him and threatened him, and then was unaccounted for in the middle of the night!
