It’s been a year since Prince William and Prince Harry have talked in person. And yet the latter’s antics have caused no shortage of concern for the entire royal family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been in California since March 2020 and their latest headache is their announcement of an epic and salacious sit-down interview with talk show host Oprah Winfrey.
Make no mistake about it, this will be no fireside chat. This is set to be a jaw dropping two hours of mud slinging, the likes of which the royal family has never seen—from one of their own!
At the same time, Prince Philip remains in the hospital and pleas to postpone the tea party have gone unheeded.
Royal Family News: Prince Philip Had Heart Surgery
Royal commentator Katie Nicholl thinks that plans to go ahead with the interview will have made William extremely angry.
She told Good Morning Britain: “The Duke of Cambridge is said privately to be livid…it’s the word that was described by a friend of his. Of course, this is taking place against a very sensitive situation. The Duke of Edinburgh is very unwell in hospital.”
Prince Philip has been undergoing treatment for an infection and a pre-existing heart condition for the past two weeks and yesterday had surgery.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tell all to Oprah Winfrey on CBS on March 7 at 8 pm. Bombshell video teases of the show reveal that the couple will accuse the royal family of some unsavory things.
Royal Family News: Oprah Winfrey Will Talk to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle This Sunday
In one tease, Oprah asks Meghan: “How do you feel about the palace hearing you speak your truth today?”
Meghan Thee Duchess replies: “I don’t know how they could expect that after all of this time we would still just be silent if there is an active role that The Firm is playing in perpetuating falsehoods about us.”
“And if that comes with risk of losing things, I mean, I’ve…there’s a lot that’s been lost already.”
