Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) Spoilers: Protecting And Implicating Teased, Whodunit Focuses On Relationships

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) has been murdered. Nearly everyone in Salem could have done it, especially since many of them threatened the rapist recently. However, the story is less about who killed him and more about the relationships. Who is protecting a loved one and who is implicating their enemy will be the important questions.

Charlie Dale’s Body Found

DOOL spoilers reveal that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) went to Charlie’s apartment to investigate reports of shots being fired. When he went inside, he saw Charlie’s body laying on the floor. Suddenly, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) burst through the door. She wasn’t being very forthcoming when answering questions. She also didn’t seem all that surprised that Charlie was dead. So of course, Rafe assumes that she is the killer.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Killer Not Obvious

Speaking to Soap Opera Digest, head writer Ron Carlivati said that that the killer won’t be that obvious. It was also teased that the top suspects will rotate. So, one week we will be convinced it’s Sami, then another week someone else looks like the guilty party, and so on. Last week, we saw many Salemites either threaten Charlie or tell someone that they were going to take care of him. So, the suspect list is a mile long when you think about it.

Head Writer Discusses Murder Mystery

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Carlivati teased that the murder mystery is less about who killed Charlie and more about the relationships. He gave an example and said the storyline will try to determine who is protecting who and what person is implicating another. As the story progresses, we will see a lot of different types of relationships and how they play into the murder.

“… the story necessitated using not just our young people, but really the legacy characters and the vets on the show. It is a family story. At the heart, it’s about what happened to Claire [Brady, Isabel Durant] and what happened to Allie [Horton, Lindsay Arnold] and you have these core characters from core families and that is so wonderful to be able to play pretty much everybody, and the people that the audience wants to see in this story.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Unexpected Conclusion?

With stories like these, the killer usually turns out to be the least expected person. So, we expect to find out that the person who killed Charlie is probably someone not even on our radar. Perhaps Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), or maybe a surprise returning character. We just found out that Kyle Lowder is coming back as Rex Brady, and Cameron Johnson will be back as Theo Carver. Plus there are the newcomers, Paulina Price (Jackee Harry) and her daughter, Chanel Price (Precious Way). We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see how this story ends.
