Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that during the week of February 1, Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) will have a special delivery for Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano). She is handed the twin babies that she plans on raising as her own. Meanwhile, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) set a trap. Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) falls right into it and is cornered.

Vivian Alamain Becomes Mommy Dearest

DOOL spoilers reveal that February Sweeps will feature a huge story for Vivian. She has returned to Salem and as many fans suspected, she’s responsible for Eli and Lani’s newborns’ kidnapping. She didn’t take the babies from the hospital because she always has someone else get their hands dirty. However, she ultimately gets the children.

It’s not about revenge, though. There was a time when Vivian would have taken Lani’s babies to avenge Stefan DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) death. Vivian doesn’t want payback right now, she just wants to be a mother to twins. She plans on raising the “Elani” babies as her own, using them as a fill-in or surrogate for the boys she lost, Stefan and Jake DiMera (also played by Brandon Barash).

Eli and Lani are starting to get a few leads, but nothing that leads to finding their kidnapped babies. They do end up setting a trap for Dr. Raynor, which she falls right into. Eli and Lani are seen in a sneak peek photo published in Soap Opera Digest. They are cornering Dr. Raynor, who looks terrified. Eli is on one side of Dr. Raynor and looks like he is prepared for her to try and run. On the other side of the doctor gone bad is Lani, who is making a passionate plea for the return of her newborn twins.

‘Elani’ Interrogate Kidnapper’

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Eli and Lani might not get the full story. Even if Dr. Raynor did reveal everything she knows, it would give them where the babies have been taken. Vivan and Ivan are smarter than that. That is why Ivan had Dr. Raynor meet him at a motel room to do the exchange. After Ivan left with the children, she has no idea where he took them.

Eventually, Eli and Lani track down Ivan and bring him in for questioning. He is Vivan’s longtime confidante, so he’s not going to throw her under the bus. However, he does share a piece of information about Vivian and the twins. Perhaps he assures “Elani” that their babies are not in danger? That Vivian will care for them like they are her own? They just have no idea that it’s due to Vivian thinking those are her babies!

‘Zany’ Story Teased By Head Writer

It is confirmed that Vivian lost her twin boys when they were babies. So she never got to raise them, something that caused the villain immense pain. She wants to use the Grant twins as a way to fulfil the experience that was taken away from her. Head writer Ron Carlivati told SOD that Eli and Lani are not dealing with a revenge kidnapping, but a woman who lost her own twin babies. So, to get the infants’ back, the detectives are going to have to use thatslant. The scribe also said it would be a storyline that gets a bit “zany” at times.

Will Lani be able to use the fact that they both lost babies to “build trust” with Vivian? Is that how she will get her children back, by reminding Vivian how it felt to have her babies ripped away? We will have to keep watching the NBC soap to see how this story develops.
