Celebrity Big Brother Spoilers: Julie Chen Moonves Spills About CBB 3

Celebrity Big Brother spoilers and updates teases that host Julie Chen Moonves wants to see Celebrity Big Brother 3 just as much as fans of the reality show do. And, if it were up to her, there would already be action taking place.

In a recent podcast interview with Nicole Anthony and Eric Curto, Celebrity Big Brother 3 was discussed and Julie had some juicy revelations for fans.

She is addressing the rumors about CBB3 by saying, “I would love to see another Celebrity Big Brother and I think now is the time to do it because most celebrities, they’re not living that jet-set lifestyle of traveling and having to go to their movie premieres.”

She does have a point about it being a perfect time to sequester people into a house—everyone is already doing just that, so why not film it? According to her since celebs aren’t traveling right now as they usually would be doing (Aspen, anyone?) the network would have a bigger candidate pool to take advantage of.

“The producer and I were pushing for it,”  Celebrity Big Brother cast member Julie continued. “But the network said ‘no. Not yet.’” And that may be just as well since word came out this week that CBS is pushing back production on five of its top shows for a second time due to coronavirus concerns. In the past few days coronavirus infection rates have skyrocketed in LA where the affected shows film. CBS has not made a further announcement about extending the halt in production but the COVID-19 situation in LA is dire.

In the podcast Julie confirmed that Big Brother 23 is on tap for the summer and the production team and casting director are already hard at work gathering up the cast. The good news is applications are still open online for anyone interested in joining!

In the meantime former houseguests have been spilling all sorts of things on social media recently and some of them appeared in a recent episode of Catfish on MTV.

For her part Kaycee Clark has spoken out about why she was removed from Big Brother 22. Elsewhere Christmas Abbott had some incendiary claims to make about Janelle Pierzina. According to her, she ruined the game of Nicole Anthony on BB All-Stars 2.
